Date and Time Details: Hermits check in between 2-4 pm on their arrival date and check out by 11 am on their departure date.

Price: $125 per night for one guest; $175 for two guests

Hermitage Self-Retreat – $155.00

Please be sure to check the hermitage calendar for availability. If you are unable to select the hermitage picture as your lodging choice, the hermitage is not available for the dates you have chosen.

The Hermitage is the perfect setting for self retreat. Individuals and couples can find privacy and seclusion at the Hermitage, which is furnished with a queen size bed and hot plate for heating water (cooking is not permitted at the Hermitage). The Hermitage is heated, and its small deck faces south, making it an ideal spot for taking in the view and the brilliant mountain sunshine.

The Hermitage is reserved for self-retreat; hermits do not participate in retreats at Vallecitos during their stay. As with all retreat participants, hermits do a short yogi job each day. Staff will provide a short orientation for Hermitage guests upon arrival. A shuttle to and from the ranch is available on a limited basis. Please contact us at refuge@vallecitos.org to inquire into shuttle availability.

Scheduling: please check the 2019 Hermitage Calendar on the website (minimum 2 night stay required).

Since many more people request use of the Hermitage than can be accommodated, use of it is scheduled on a first come, first served basis, with the full fee due upon registration. Please review our cancellation policy before registering.

The hermitage cost is inclusive of all meals and accommodation.
